- This place is behind Violet Valley. In the Ngarrangkarni ( Dreamtime) two butcher birds were singing out to each other. 'Let's go down to where the water is, where is is cool, so we can drink and swin in the cool water." But the old man who lived in these parts said "No, you must wait until I get there, so that I can welcome you" But the birds went ahead and you can see them there still today as stones nearby the water.
