- Artwork story
- In characteristic style, Queenie depicts important places in her country. She has mapped the Argyle Diamond Mine and surrounding country with a nearby Dreaming Place. At the bottom of the work is the important place known as Pompey Pillar and another Dreaming Place - Echidna Dreaming near a waterfall.
Her works reflect her strong love and commitment to the landscape where she grew up. The artist's career was guided by the master artist Rover Thomas, a lifelong friend.
