- Artwork story
- In characteristic style, Queenie depicts part of her traditional country. The Mistake Creek area is country backing onto Texas Downs Station. This beautiful work illustrates her interest in recording and mapping her country.
Her works reflect her strong love and commitment to the landscape where she grew up. The artist's career was guided by the master artist Rover Thomas, a lifelong friend.
