- Near Violet Valley, which is Madigan's country, there is a place where there are three springs in a row. Some women were travelling through this country and tried using a digging stick to get the water to put in the coolamon. They dug down but found that all three were all dried up. So they had to keep traveling through this country in search of water, but still found nothing.
