Artwork story: 'This one la Bedford Downs. Barangen.There's that big hill there. Dreamtime baby in the big spring. Can't grow up, ya know. See them in the water. Tell them not to touch that baby. Don't go near there or you get a baby. Baby in the coolamon, and mother and grown up child waiting for the husband to come home. Hiding in a cave, that's the track all around.' Madigan is talking about a spring on Bedford Downs Cattle Station that makes women pregnant if they swim there. She is also talking about the couple in the Dreamtime who are camped in a cave near the spring and are waiting for the baby to grow up, but it can't.
