Susan is a Walmajarri artist who resides in Gurambilbarra/Townsville. She paints native plants, traditional foods, medicinal practices, and the local environment, embracing a diverse range of mediums, including painting on canvas, printmaking, and using ochres on hessian. In 2021, she was awarded the CIAF Award for Innovation for her work with hessian. Susan's artworks have been acquired by Artbank in Sydney, the National Gallery of Australia in Canberra, Perc Tucker Gallery in Townsville, and Townsville Hospital.
