BIOGRAPHY
Roma Nyutjangka Butler, an artist from the Pitjantjatjara cultural and language group, was born in 1959 at Wilo Rockhole, located along the Kanyala (euro kangaroo) Dreaming track. She spent her early childhood at Ernabella Mission in South Australia. Later, she traveled by camel to Warburton, Western Australia, where she attended school and learned literacy skills. Irrunytju holds special significance as it is the land of her grandfather's brother.
