- 'Gawarriny - Aboriginal name. This one jirragil, little sand frog. She Nangala.' This is the Ngarranggarni (Dreaming) place for jirragil, the sand frog. Jirragil is Nangala skin in the Gija kinship system. This place is on Thomas' husband Sandy Thomas’ maternal grandfather’s family’s traditional Gilbunj country.
